Ethiopians were the first Africans, to which I had contact in Germany. They were actually the ones to raise my interest in Africa for the first time. In Ethiopia I travelled for a month in 1994, and I have several
good friends in Germany, who are Ethiopians. I went back in 1996 for a short visit on the way back form Uganda.
